Multi-Line Dialer
How it works
Most outbound calls go unanswered. The multi-line dialer calls several contacts at the same time and connects you to the first person who picks up, so you spend less time listening to rings.
- Choose how many contacts to ring at once: 1, 2 or 3.
- The dialer calls them together and connects you to the first person who answers.
- If a second person answers while you're on a call, they hear your callback message and move to the top of your list, so they're the next person you call.
The multi-line dialer is in private beta. If you don't see it, contact support.
Before you start
- You need a phone number in the sub-account assigned to you.
- Allow microphone access in your browser.
- Make sure your contacts have consented to calls where required.
Use the multi-line dialer
- An admin turns on multi-line dialing for the account (it's off until then). Each user then picks 1, 2 or 3 lines in their own dialer.
- Set up the callback message before your team starts dialing.
- Build a call list by adding contacts, for example from a smart list.
- Press Start. Talk to whoever answers, add notes and a disposition, then continue to the next set.
Tips
- Start with 2 lines and increase once your team is comfortable.
- Use call dispositions so follow-ups can be automated.
- Follow local calling-hour rules.
