Phone Dialer Overview
What the phone dialer is
The phone dialer is a browser-based calling panel. It opens from the phone icon and stays available while you work in other parts of your account.
Key features
- Instant dialing and search: type a number or search contacts by name.
- Choose your outbound number: pick which of your numbers to call from. Your default is used if you don't choose.
- Audio controls: mute, hold, keypad and audio device selection.
- Transfers: send a live call to a teammate or another number.
- Voicemail: listen to voicemails from the dialer and Conversations.
- Call scripts: open talking points during a call.
Make a call
- Click the phone icon.
- Search for a contact or enter a number.
- Select the outbound number.
- Click Call.
Receive a call
Incoming calls pop up in the dialer when you're set to receive calls in the web app. Click Answer or Decline.
Tips
- Allow microphone access in your browser.
- Use a headset for the best audio.
- Set your default outbound number under your user profile's call settings.
