Ring Incoming Calls to Multiple Users
What it does
Multi-user ringing sends an incoming call to several team members at the same time. The first person to answer gets the call, and the others stop ringing.
How routing works
- The number's main recipient (team member) rings along with any additional team members you add.
- Each user rings on the devices set in their Forward calls to settings (web app, mobile app or forwarding phone).
- If nobody answers before the timeout, the call goes to the fallback (voicemail or Voice AI).
- With Inbound Call Routing by Working Hours turned on, users outside their schedule are skipped.
Set it up
- Go to Settings → Phone System → Phone Numbers.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the number and select Edit Configuration.
- On Basic Details, choose the main team member.
- Use Ring more team members to add others.
- Set the timeout and fallback, then save.
Tips
- Make sure each added user can receive calls on at least one device.
- Keep the list focused; ringing too many people can cause confusion.
