Workflow Trigger: Call Details
What it does
The Call Details trigger starts a workflow when a call matches the conditions you set, so you can follow up on missed calls, voicemails or specific outcomes automatically.
Filters
| Filter | Purpose | Example | | --- | --- | --- | | Call direction | Incoming or outgoing calls | Incoming | | Call status | System outcomes | Busy, voicemail, no-answer, completed | | Custom disposition | The outcome chosen after the call | Requested callback | | In phone number | Only calls on certain numbers | Main sales number | | In number pool | Only calls from a tracking pool | Paid search pool |
Set it up
- Go to Automation → Workflows and create a workflow.
- Add the Call Details trigger.
- Add filters (for example Direction = Incoming and Status = no-answer).
- Add actions and publish.
Common uses
| Scenario | Trigger | Actions | | --- | --- | --- | | Missed inbound call | Incoming; busy or no-answer | Text back, notify team, create callback task | | Voicemail left | Status = voicemail | Assign to a user, send follow-up | | Interested lead | Disposition = Interested | Move opportunity stage, book meeting |
Testing
Place a test call that matches the filters, then check the workflow's execution history.
