Competitor Analysis in Reputation Management
Competitor Analysis benchmarks your online reputation against up to three competitors. It pulls review data from platforms like Google, Facebook, Yelp, Foursquare, and Trustpilot and shows where you're ahead and where you're behind.
What you'll see
- Reputation score (0 to 100): a weighted score based on ratings, review volume, and how quickly reviews get replies.
- Sentiment heatmap: positive, neutral, and negative reviews for you and each competitor, side by side.
- Keyword and theme analysis: what customers praise and complain about. Click a theme to read the reviews behind it.
- Positioning grid: a quadrant chart that maps strengths and weaknesses.
- Ratings by source: average rating, total reviews, response time, and response rate for each platform.
Set it up
- Go to Reputation > Competitor Analysis.
- Click Add Your Business and confirm your business listing.
- Click Add Competitor and search for up to three competitors by name and location.
- Save. The first analysis can take a little while to collect data.
Use the results
- Look for themes competitors get praised for that you don't, and close the gap.
- Check response rate and time. Replying faster is one of the easiest ways to raise your score.
- Revisit monthly to track progress. You can swap competitors any time.
