Send Review Requests on WhatsApp
WhatsApp review requests let you ask customers for a review in the app many of them use most.
Set it up
Step 1: Connect WhatsApp
- Go to Settings > WhatsApp.
- Subscribe to WhatsApp if you haven't yet.
- Follow the prompts to connect your WhatsApp Business number.
Step 2: Choose the default sender
- Go to Reputation > Settings > WhatsApp Requests.
- Under Default WhatsApp sender number, choose your connected number.
- Click Save.
Step 3: Set the message
- Choose or customize your review request template.
- Include your review link and any personalization fields.
- Save.
WhatsApp requires approved message templates for business-started conversations, so make sure your template is approved.
Send requests
- One customer: go to Reputation, click Send Review Request, choose the customer, choose WhatsApp, and send.
- Automatically: use a workflow with the review request action and choose WhatsApp as the channel.
Tips
- Send soon after the visit or purchase, while it's fresh.
- Keep the message short and personal.
- Only message customers who've agreed to hear from you on WhatsApp.
