Campaign Opportunity Score in Ad Manager

What it is

Opportunity Score is a readiness check in Ad Manager. Before you publish, it gives your campaign a score from 0 to 100, a band label and specific recommendations. It works for Meta, Google and LinkedIn campaigns and only checks settings that apply to the platform, objective, campaign type and ad format you chose.
A higher score means fewer setup gaps were found. A lower score means there are areas worth reviewing. The score never changes your campaign for you, and a high score doesn't guarantee results.

The Opportunity Score panel

Open the panel while you build or review a campaign. It shows:
  • Your overall score and band
  • Category cards, such as Audience, Budget, Creative, Tracking and Keywords
  • Impact labels (Low, Medium or High impact) on each recommendation
  • A prioritized list of what to fix first

How to use it

  1. Build your campaign as usual in Marketing → Ad Manager.
  2. Open the Opportunity Score panel before you publish.
  3. Start with High impact recommendations.
  4. Click a recommendation to jump to the setting it refers to, make the change and watch the score update.
  5. Publish when you're happy with the setup.

Tips

  • Recommendations are suggestions. Skip any that don't fit your goal.
  • Re-check the score after big edits to audience, budget or creative.
