Tag Contacts from Campaign Statistics

You can tag contacts based on how they interacted with a campaign, straight from its statistics. There's no need to plan a workflow in advance.

Tag contacts by interaction

  1. Go to Marketing → Emails → Campaigns.
  2. Find a sent campaign, click the three-dot menu and select Statistics.
  3. Click Load More to see interaction data.
  4. Choose a category, such as Opened or Clicked.
  5. Select the contacts you want to tag.
  6. Click Add Tags, enter your tags and apply them.

Auto-tag future interactions

  1. In the interaction category, select All.
  2. Click Add Tags and enter your tags.
  3. Turn on Auto-Tag Future Interactions.
Contacts who open or click later are tagged automatically.

Good to know

  • You can add several tags at once. Applying a tag a contact already has is ignored.
  • This can't remove tags.
  • It works with A/B test campaigns.
  • Manual tagging is logged in Bulk Actions. Auto-tagging isn't, but you can see its log in the statistics view.
  • Auto-tagging doesn't apply to invalid contacts or order detail lists.
