Facebook Ad Reporting Metrics
Facebook ad reporting shows how your campaigns perform and how they turn into leads and sales. Connect your Facebook ad account to see it under Reporting > Facebook Ads.
Metrics
- Impressions: how many times your ads were shown.
- Clicks: how many times people clicked your ads.
- CTR (click-through rate): clicks ÷ impressions. Low CTR usually means the ad or audience needs work.
- Spend: how much you spent in the date range.
- CPC (cost per click): spend ÷ clicks.
- Conversions: actions you track, such as form fills or bookings.
- Leads: new contacts that came from your ads.
- CPL (cost per lead): spend ÷ leads.
- Sales and revenue: won deals and payments from ad leads.
- ROI: how much revenue you made compared with what you spent.
Use the report
- Filter by date range and drill into campaigns, ad sets, and ads.
- Compare cost per lead across campaigns and move budget to the best ones.
- Watch revenue, not just leads. A cheap lead that never buys isn't a win.
Accurate numbers depend on good UTM tracking. See "Facebook Ad Attribution and UTM Tracking Best Practices."
