Set Up Pay-Per-Lead Commissions for Affiliates
What pay-per-lead is
Pay-Per-Lead (PPL) rewards affiliates for bringing in leads rather than sales. When someone submits a form, completes a survey or books an appointment through an affiliate's link, that affiliate can earn a commission.
It's ideal for businesses focused on lead generation, bookings and building a pipeline.
Supported sources
You can enable pay-per-lead for campaigns using:
- Funnels, websites, store or an external website
- Forms, surveys or calendars
Forms, surveys and calendars must be added as elements on a funnel or website page for leads to be tracked. Custom code embeds aren't tracked.
Set it up
- Go to Marketing → Affiliate Manager and open Campaigns.
- Click + Add.
- Select the source type and finish the source settings.
- Open the Commissions tab and turn on Pay-Per-Lead.
- Under Per Lead Commission, enter the amount affiliates earn for each lead.
- (Optional) Open the advanced commission settings to set up multiple tiers.
- Add a description and assign affiliates.
- Review and publish.
Track lead commissions
Lead commissions appear in Affiliate Manager alongside sales commissions, so you can see which affiliates are bringing in leads and what they've earned.
