Create Google Ads Conversion Actions in Ad Manager

What conversion actions do

Conversion actions tell Google which results matter to you, such as a booked appointment or a sale. FunnelStreams can send these results back to Google as offline conversions, so Google can optimize your ads toward people who actually convert.

Find the Conversion Actions section

  1. Go to Marketing → Ad Manager.
  2. Click Settings (gear icon).
  3. Under Platform Settings, select Google Ads.
  4. Open the Conversions tab.
You'll see every conversion action from your connected Google Ads account, including ones created directly in Google Ads. Use the date range filter to narrow the list.

Create a conversion action

  1. Click + Create a new conversion.
  2. Fill in the form:
  3. Conversion name: a unique name, such as "Appointment booked"
  4. Conversion source: the offline action, such as Converted Lead, Purchase, Signup or Add to Cart
  5. Count: One per click (best for leads) or Many per click (best for purchases)
  6. Value: same value for each conversion, a different value for each, or no value
  7. Currency
  8. Click-through conversion window: 1 to 90 days
  9. Attribution model: fixed to Data-driven for offline conversions
  10. Click Create.
The conversion action is created in your Google Ads account automatically. You don't need to set anything up in Google Ads.

Edit or delete

Click the three-dot menu next to a conversion action and choose Edit or Delete. You can change the count, value and currency, click-through window and conversion source.

Good to know

  • This is for offline conversions: leads, sales and calls that happen outside your website.
  • Conversion events are uploaded to these actions through your workflows, which you set up separately.
  • New conversion actions are available in Google Ads reporting.
