Google Lead Forms

What they are

Google lead forms capture contact details directly from Google Ads. People submit their information without visiting your website. With the connection set up, each submission becomes a FunnelStreams contact.
Google lead forms are different from FunnelStreams forms. They're built and hosted in Google Ads.

Connect Google Ads

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Find Google Ads and click Manage, then Install.
  3. Sign in with a Google account that has access to your Google Ads account and approve access.
  4. Select the Google Ads account or accounts you want to connect.
Your lead forms then appear with their campaign names and sync status.

Map and enable a lead form

  1. Find the lead form you want to sync and click its Play/Edit icon.
  2. Select Map Fields and match each Google field to a contact field.
  3. Finish mapping and turn on syncing.
  4. Check that the sync status shows Active.
To stop receiving leads from a form, click its Pause icon.

Automate follow-up

  1. Go to Automations → Workflows and create or open a workflow.
  2. Add the Google Lead Form Submitted trigger.
  3. Filter by ad account or lead form if needed.
  4. Add your actions, such as a welcome email, assigning a user or creating an opportunity.
  5. Save and publish.

Test the connection

  1. In Google Ads, open the campaign that uses the connected lead form.
  2. In the Lead form section, click Edit and open the form.
  3. Click Send data to send a test submission. You can ignore any warning Google shows during the test.
  4. Check that the test lead appears in your contacts.
